What does it mean to file pregnancy?

Usually, if expectant mothers in Beijing don't file, public hospitals don't allow expectant mothers to give birth in this hospital. Therefore, it is recommended that expectant mothers go to the hospital to file in time. Filing a pregnant woman is to establish a personal pregnancy file in the hospital to record the basic information of pregnant women and all prenatal records. Under normal circumstances, in which hospital the file is filed, it is necessary to have a checkup in which hospital.

There are also many novice mothers who ask whether it is feasible to set up a file in one hospital and then go to other hospitals to have a baby.

It is suggested that in order to ensure the comprehensiveness and continuity of pregnant mothers' file information, it is best not to transfer to another hospital. In addition, if the expectant mother wants to transfer to another hospital for delivery, it is recommended to apply for a referral form in advance to find out whether the transfer hospital can still file.

Filing in Beijing is divided into two steps: the first step is to go to the local community health service center to receive the Beijing Maternal and Child Health Handbook, which is to build a book. The second step is to choose your own target hospital for filing.

Appointment mechanism

Most public hospitals in Beijing implement an appointment mechanism, that is, after confirming pregnancy or handling maternal and child health manuals, they first register and file in the obstetrics department of the hospital, that is, reserve beds.

Step 1: deal with the maternal and child health handbook.

Time: 6 weeks after pregnancy (43 days after the last menstruation), not even one day earlier.

Venue: Community Health Service Center in residential area or domicile.

Documents: husband and wife ID card, marriage certificate, household registration book, pregnancy certificate, Beijing residence permit. For details of residence permit application, please refer to "Application Conditions and Latest Policy Interpretation of Beijing Residence Permit in 2020".

Examination: blood routine, urine routine or B-ultrasound. Some community hospitals also require gynecological examination, liver function examination, renal function examination, vaginal secretion examination, immune virus screening, electrocardiogram and so on.

Precautions:

1, after 6 weeks of pregnancy (calculated by the first day of the last menstruation, it must be ≥43 days), and establish a roster at the local community hospital. Note that even a day earlier, the system can't get in.

2. When inputting information in the manual of maternal and child health care, once the last menstrual date of pregnant women is entered, it cannot be changed or modified. In addition, the maternal and child handbook needs to be handled by pregnant women themselves.

3. If you need to apply for a residence permit in Beijing, you need to apply in advance because of the long processing cycle, otherwise it will affect the time of the maternal and child health manual.

4. The filing and stamping of major hospitals in Beijing can be roughly divided into two categories: filing by date and filing by gestational age. Expectant mothers are advised to know the filing period or expected date of delivery of the target hospital in advance and prepare the filing materials as soon as possible.

Step 2: Choose a public hospital for filing.

In Beijing, only by filing a follow-up visit can you have a check-up in this hospital. Generally speaking, Beijing hospitals need to meet two conditions for filing: first, there must be a "Beijing Maternal and Child Health Handbook"; Second, it is necessary to meet the requirements of hospital filing, such as pregnancy cycle and embryo ultrasound with visible fetal heart. Different general hospitals have different filing conditions and filing time. You can reply to the hospital name query in the background.

The most critical step in going to the hospital for filing is to make an appointment for filing (some hospitals call it registration). After making an appointment, it is equivalent to occupying a bed. Follow-up will be carried out step by step according to the requirements and procedures of the hospital, and finally the formal filing will be completed.
