1. Postal Administration and Postal Company (formerly known as "Post Office") are two completely different units. Postal Administration is the administrative supervision department of postal services (including express delivery market) above the city (state, league), which first appeared in 2006.
2. Postal companies (formerly known as "post offices") are mail delivery (production) units. The Postal Administration is a public institution directly under the central government, and is prepared by the national civil service administration (included in the annual national civil service examination directly under the central government); Postal companies are state-owned enterprise organizations.
3. In terms of administrative subordination, the postal administration at the same level is the supervision department at the same level of postal companies and also the supervision department of express delivery enterprises.
4. The State Postal Administration belongs to the State Bureau at the deputy ministerial level, the provincial (autonomous regions and municipalities) Postal Administration belongs to the administrative agency at the main department level (or the deputy department level), and the municipal (state, league) Postal Administration belongs to the administrative agency at the deputy department level (the deputy provincial city or the city within the index is the main department level). At present, there are 3/kloc-0 provincial postal administrations, 332 municipal postal administrations and 25 postal regulatory agencies in China.
5. Before the reform of China's postal system, China's postal system had no separation between government and enterprise, and it was called post office. Under the General Post Office, there are post sub-offices, post offices and postal agencies.
