Guide economic development and establish labor relations: according to the requirements of Scientific Outlook on Development, guide members to change the mode of economic development, strengthen energy conservation and emission reduction, adhere to sound and rapid development, attach importance to ecological environment protection and establish harmonious labor relations;
5. Abide by laws and regulations and maintain market economy: abide by national laws and regulations, standardize operations, pay taxes according to regulations, establish a modern enterprise system and maintain market economic order;
6. Safeguarding members' rights and interests and participating in dispute mediation: safeguarding and safeguarding members' legitimate rights and interests, reflecting members' opinions, demands and suggestions, and participating in mediation and arbitration of economic disputes;
7. Provide services for members and improve their sustainable development ability: provide training, financing, science and technology, law, information consultation and other services for members, provide domestic and international economic and trade exchange services, and provide public relations communication and coordination services to help members enhance their independent innovation ability and improve their core competitiveness and sustainable development ability;
8. Strengthen contacts with Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and expand the international market: strengthen contacts with businessmen in Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province Province, carry out work to promote economic and trade cooperation and the reunification of the motherland, strengthen exchanges with foreign industrial and commercial associations, and serve the expansion of opening up and enterprises' entry into the international market;

The Federation of Industry and Commerce is a people's organization and chamber of commerce led by the party, which is dominated by private enterprises and private economy and has the basic characteristics of organic unity of United front, economy and folk. The Federation of Industry and Commerce performs its duties and plays a role around the theme of promoting the healthy development of the non-public economy and the healthy growth of non-public economic people.
The specific contents and forms of the Federation of Industry and Commerce's participation in political consultation, participation in state affairs and democratic supervision shall be implemented with reference to the relevant provisions of Chapter III of these Regulations.
The Federation of Industry and Commerce shall perform the duties of the competent business unit for its chamber of commerce, carry out ideological and political work, education and training for its members, and inspect and assess the main responsible persons of its chamber of commerce. The Federation of Industry and Commerce strengthens the contact, guidance and service with other trade associations with private enterprises and private economy as the main body.
