The starting point of Lianzhou connecting line is located in xinzhai village, Lianzhou City, which connects with Tongluoying Interchange, the main line of Erguang Expressway, passes through Huangbaishui, Sanhetang and Xinlizhai, crosses 234 National Highway and Sanjiang, and ends at Shazigang Hub Interchange, which connects with Guangxu Expressway. Lianzhou connecting line has four lanes in both directions, with a design speed of 80 km/h. There are 3 bridges and 2 interchanges on the whole line.
The completion and opening to traffic of Lianzhou connecting line is an important measure to implement the decision-making and deployment of the provincial party Committee and the provincial government on further promoting the leap-forward development of mountainous areas in northern Guangdong. G55 Erguang Expressway and G4W2 Guangxu Expressway are directly connected in series, which provides a more convenient travel route for vehicles entering and leaving Guangdong in Hunan, Hubei, Henan and Shaanxi provinces, and greatly relieves the traffic pressure on local roads in Lianzhou and Liannan areas.
During the construction period, Erguang Expressway made every effort to build high-quality projects, paid close attention to construction standardization and team standardization, promoted project informatization, overcame the influence of COVID-19 epidemic and karst geological conditions, vigorously promoted new technologies and new processes, and comprehensively applied advanced technologies and processes such as ultrasonic hole-forming quality inspection of pile foundation, slipform paving and carbon dioxide shielded welding, and the quality of completion acceptance was excellent.
After the project is completed and opened to traffic, it can directly communicate between Erguang Expressway and Guangxu Expressway without bypassing Liannan County, laying a solid transportation foundation for Lianzhou to build a regional central city at the junction of Guangdong, Hunan and Guangxi, which is of great significance to building a fast and convenient transportation network in ethnic areas and adding new impetus to promoting long-term stability and high-quality development of regional economy in ethnic areas.
Article 59 of the Highway Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) * * * The following highways that meet the technical level and scale stipulated by the transportation department of the State Council can collect vehicle tolls according to law:
(1) Roads built by the transportation departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level with loans or funds raised from enterprises and individuals;
