Details:
Incoloy 800HT is a full austenitic low carbon Ni-Fe-Cr alloy in the same series as Incoloy 800. The cobalt content in this alloy can be strictly controlled below 0.0 1%. Incoloy 800HT can resist many corrosive media. Its high nickel content makes it have good stress corrosion cracking resistance under water corrosion conditions. The high chromium content makes it have better resistance to pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion cracking. The alloy has good corrosion resistance to nitric acid and organic acid, but its corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid is limited. In addition to the possibility of pitting corrosion in halides, it has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing and non-oxidizing salts. It also has good corrosion resistance in water, steam and the mixture of steam, air and carbon dioxide.
Incoloy 800HT has the following characteristics.
● Excellent corrosion resistance in extremely high temperature water medium up to 500℃
Good stress corrosion resistance.
● Good processability
Incoloy 800HT application field
● Nitric acid condenser-resistant to nitric acid corrosion
● Steam heating pipe-good mechanical performance.
● Heating element tube-good mechanical properties.
● For applications up to 500℃, the alloy is in an annealed state.

Incoloy800HT welding
Incoloy 800HT is suitable for any traditional welding process, such as tungsten inert gas shielded welding, plasma arc welding, manual sub-arc welding, metal inert gas shielded welding, metal inert gas shielded arc welding and so on.
Incoloy 800HT welding must be carried out in an annealed state, and stains, dust and traces should be cleaned up.
With low heat input, the interlayer temperature shall not exceed 150℃.
No heat treatment is required before and after welding.
