In the initial stage of management information system, the main means of computer management information system is to build, rebuild or expand the management system organized by it. The main tasks are: to determine the development strategy of management information system according to the overall goal development strategy of the organization, to clarify the overall information demand of the organization, to formulate the overall planning of management information system construction, including determining the overall goal, function and scale of the proposed system, to roughly estimate the required resources, and to plan several development projects in batches according to the requirements of priorities and the constraints of resource application environment.
2. System sending
The main work of the stage is to arrange the overall event project of the proposed system according to the system planning stage, and carry out the system development work in batches. In the heavy stage, each project development work includes system investigation, system feasibility study, system logic model establishment, system design, system implementation, system transformation system evaluation and so on.
3, system operation and maintenance
Once the project is completed, each system is put into operation and maintenance. Generally speaking, the life cycle of the system has a long history, and the management information system realizes its functions and obtains benefits. At this stage, the department organizes and manages the system operation, so as to give full play to its benefits and improve the basic guarantee for system maintenance and system operation.
System maintenance: corrective maintenance, adaptive maintenance, perfect maintenance and preventive maintenance.
Corrective maintenance refers to the regular random maintenance of the system, correcting the errors exposed in the operation stage, troubleshooting, eliminating hidden dangers, updating vulnerable parts, refreshing the software and data storage guarantee systems of various departments, and completing various tasks according to the predetermined requirements.
Adaptive maintenance refers to the fact that some departments of the management environment and technical environment change system have been able to adapt to the changing environment and affect the realization of the predetermined functions of the system, so some departments need to be properly adjusted and modified to meet the needs of management.
Perfection maintenance means that the user system needs some new information, modifies the original system foundation and expands the system functions to meet the new information needs of users.
Preventive maintenance and prevention system can be changed or affected and maintenance measures can be taken.
4. System update
Modern organizations are facing the changes of internal and external environment, and their organizational goals and strategic information needs must adapt to the changes of the environment. The maintenance of management information system is limited to local adjustment within the general scope to adapt to major changes. At present, some major departments or systems of the system have been able to adapt to the changes in the information needs of environmental users through maintenance or adjustment with the original system. If the management information system or a system is to be eliminated, the construction of a new system or the development of a project will start as soon as possible.
