How does liquid ammonia decompose hydrogen?

Ammonia decomposition takes liquid ammonia as raw material, which is gasified and preheated, and then enters the decomposition furnace with catalyst. At a certain temperature and pressure, ammonia decomposes to produce a mixed gas containing 75% hydrogen and 25% nitrogen. After passing through the heat exchanger and cooler, the gas enters the dryer with UOP zeolite as adsorbent. After adsorption, separation and purification, the residual ammonia and water in the mixed gas are effectively removed. The chemical equation of ammonia decomposition is as follows:

2NH3==3H2+N2-22080 card

Under standard conditions, 1kg liquid ammonia can be completely decomposed to produce 2.64Nm3 hydrogen-nitrogen mixed gas.
