2. Construction of landfill site
Before this, the construction of landfill should be prepared in advance. From landfill site selection to industrial design, it is decided after careful consideration. The basement and periphery of the landfill area will be reinforced with impervious clay layer, and impervious film will be laid to prevent the garbage from leaking downwards. This impervious membrane is very strong and will not be damaged for decades, so there is no need to worry about the pollution of soil and groundwater by garbage.
3. Rubbish leveling and rolling
After the garbage is poured into the landfill, the density of the garbage will be greatly increased after repeated tiling and compaction. Leachate produced by garbage will be introduced into special places for treatment through pipelines.
4. Complete site closure
After each landfill unit is completely landfilled, we will completely cover it with soil layer, plant trees to integrate it with the surrounding environment, and closely monitor the environmental impact of the landfill area for a long time.
5. Landfill gas collection
In the sealed landfill area, due to lack of oxygen, organic waste began to ferment, producing a large number of mixed gases (methane, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, etc. ). These gases are transported to the power plant through vertical gas wells and horizontal gas wells criss-crossing the garbage layer.
6. Landfill gas power generation
After the gas is purified, it is supplied to the internal combustion engine through combustion. After the internal combustion engine generates electricity, part of it is used for the factory's own use, and the other part is transported to the State Grid. The waste heat generated by combustion can also be transported to the heating network or industrial and agricultural equipment in the nearby area through the heat exchanger.
Of course, these rough steps can't present all the operational details of the landfill, such as strictly controlling the exposed surface of garbage, disinfection and deodorization in the factory area, etc. These are the necessary links of the landfill. Sanitary landfill of garbage is a technical job!
