Wen 'an County belongs to Langfang City, Hebei Province. It was established in the early Western Han Dynasty, between Beijing and Tianjin. Ancient land of Yan and Zhao, with a long history and profound cultural heritage, was named for its implication of "worshiping rites and governing the country and securing the world".

In the third year of the Western Wei Dynasty (537), Wen 'an County was established, which was also governed by Wen 'an County. Today, Wen 'an Yi Town, Yanchuan County, Shaanxi Province. In the third year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (583), Wen 'an County was abolished, extended to Chuan County, and the county administration was moved to Yanchuan County. It is a county under the jurisdiction of the Traffic Propaganda Department of the Ming Dynasty, located in Xian 'an County in the north and northwest of Xuanguang City in Vietnam today.
