Passepartout (scientific name: Acer truncatum) is a dried and mature fruit preface of Liquidambar formosana, a deciduous tree of Hamamelidaceae. It grows in slopes or sparse forests in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hubei, Guizhou and other places. This sequence consists of 25 ~ 40 capsules with a diameter of 2 ~ 3 cm. The surface of the fruit is grayish brown to dark brown, prickly, and the upper stalk of the fruit is enlarged.
