They talk to each other about their own or others' worries, share their growth experiences, strive for others' understanding and support, use group interaction to increase their understanding of themselves and others, and use group psychological counseling as an experimental place to practice and improve their psychology and behavior in order to expand into social life. After each activity, the group instructor will also ask members for feedback and exchange various new understandings and feelings in time.

After many successful group counseling, members have established close, frank and mutually supportive relationships, and may feel reluctant to part with the end of group counseling, and some may have strong emotional reactions. Therefore, the series of group counseling should announce the end of group activities several times in advance. Dealing with possible separation anxiety and completing activities is a very important link to consolidate the results of group psychological counseling.
