The last issue of "can't you get it back after giving birth?" The separation of rectus abdominis caused the disaster! After the article was published, it received a warm response from everyone, and many young ladies hoped to send another detailed exercise guide.

Since the fairies asked, of course we asked! After all, your face value is so high, who let us be Yan Kong!

This time, I invited Dr. Chen Hao, deputy director of the general surgery department of Huashan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University, and selected some high-frequency and representative questions to help the little fairies get closer to becoming "little waist experts".

Q: To what extent is the rectus abdominis separated and what exercise is suitable for? Thank you!

The degree of separation of rectus abdominis requires professional, reasonable, comprehensive and systematic evaluation and decision-making, and the treatment must vary from person to person and the prescription should be personalized.

First, let's learn how to find the rectus abdominis:

1. Lie flat with your knees bent. Put your right hand on your stomach, palms down, fingers pointing to your pubic bone, and hands on your navel.

2. Breathe normally. When exhaling, slowly lift your head and shoulders.

3, try to sit up, you can feel the abdominal muscles gathering. At this point, the degree of separation can be evaluated by fingering.

Then take the most convenient self-test fingering as an example to evaluate:

Gentle separation:

2-3 fingers wide (3-5 cm), breathing training+core muscle strength training+self-massage.

Moderate separation:

3-4 finger width (5-8 cm), respiratory training+core muscle strength training combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation.

Severe separation:

More than 4 fingers wide (> 8cm), neuromuscular electrical stimulation+breathing training+moderate exercise therapy is needed.

Q: Can exercise therapy give a detailed graphic course? Want to practice with it!

We still recommend that postpartum be completed under the guidance of a professional rehabilitation therapist. However, here are a few sports postures for mothers to refer to:

2. Prone drafting training

3, flat support training

4, lateral support training

5, oblique sit-ups (

6. Straight leg sit-ups (

* Tips: It is recommended to do the above actions every day or every other day, each group 10 times, 2-3 groups each time.

(3)

Q: Do you have any recommended abdominal belts and pants?

It is recommended to choose a breathable, comfortable and slightly elastic abdominal belt or trousers to avoid squeezing out strangulation marks on the body skin.

(4)

Q:? One month after delivery, my stomach is still like four or five months. Does the abdominal belt need to be tied all the time?

It is recommended to tie, but at the same time, we should also carry out restorative abdominal muscle exercise training, and do some isometric contraction training of abdominal breathing and abdominal core muscle strength.

(5)

Q:? After 10 muscle electrical stimulation treatment, two fingers recovered to one and a half fingers. I wonder if it is necessary to continue treatment until I fully recover?

In fact, during pregnancy, rectus abdominis is separated, and the aponeurosis of abdominal white line is elongated, so it is generally impossible to recover to a perfect "complete recovery".

However, it is still possible to evaluate the functional state of lower abdominal muscles through systematic rehabilitation evaluation, and give correct neuromuscular electrical stimulation prescription and exercise guidance, which may achieve more ideal results.

(6)

Q: I read a post about the separation of the upper abdominal wall after delivery. It is said that rectus abdominis cannot be rolled up without recovery. Is that so? Seek professional guidance!

The recovery of rectus abdominis requires systematic evaluation and testing. Understand muscle fatigue, contraction strength and recovery degree, and then give appropriate and reasonable rehabilitation treatment+core training.

(7)

Q:? One year after delivery, can you still use a corset to help you recover?

Proper use of corset can help abdominal wall muscle support and core joint support. Of course, the more ideal state is that rehabilitation treatment and abdominal girdle are needed to help recovery.

(8)

Q:? How long can core training be carried out after caesarean section?

In fact, small-scale and small-dose core training can be carried out after caesarean section.

However, we suggest that each group of movements should be completed with the guidance and help of professional rehabilitation therapists in the early postpartum period.

(9)

Q:? Excuse me, my rectus abdominis muscle separation+white hernia, if it has not recovered well in the later period, what operation treatment is better?

This question is more professional, I suggest you come to the hospital for consultation. However, here are some short answers.

First of all, rectus abdominis separation and white line hernia are two diseases that need differential diagnosis in clinical surgery. The separation of rectus abdominis only means that the distance between bilateral rectus abdominis is more than 3cm, and the white line of abdomen remains intact and continuous without abdominal wall defect; White line hernia refers to the abdominal white line defect between bilateral rectus abdominis, which can not maintain the integrity and continuity of the abdominal white line, and the abdominal contents can protrude into the subcutaneous tissue through the abdominal white line defect.

Secondly, their treatment is very different. The first choice for patients with rectus abdominis separation is to recommend scientific rehabilitation treatment scheme, which can achieve good recovery effect. In the end, only a few patients need surgery, so it is necessary to strictly grasp the indications of surgery to avoid unnecessary repair surgery causing new injuries and destroying the function of the core muscles of the abdominal wall.

Surgical treatment is the first choice for patients with white line hernia, and the corresponding repair operation scheme (suture repair or patch repair) is selected according to the size of hernia ring defect.

That's all the answers. I wish the little fairy mothers can recover quickly in the coming summer and become charming "little waist essence" ~
