Jinan is known as the "Spring City" in China because of its numerous springs, and is known as "Lotus on four sides and willow on three sides, a city with mountains and a half city with lakes". It is a national historical and cultural city, the first batch of excellent tourist cities in China, and one of the birthplaces of prehistoric Longshan culture.
Baotu Spring, also known as "the first spring in the world", is located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, with Qianfo Mountain in the south, quancheng square in the east and Daming Lake in the north, with an area of 1.58 mu, which is a characteristic garden dominated by springs. This spring is the first of 72 springs in Jinan, and is known as "the first spring in the world". It is also the first spring in Jinan in ancient literature. Baotu Spring is the symbol of Jinan, the spring city.
