Information technology is the general name of various technologies mainly used for managing and processing information. It is mainly based on the application of computer science and communication technology to design, develop, install and realize information systems and application software. It is also often called information and communication technology, including sensing technology, computer and intelligence technology, communication technology and control technology.
Information science and technology employment direction
1. computer control direction: able to engage in the application and maintenance of computer hardware systems and the application, development and maintenance of small control systems.
2. Development direction of computer application software: able to engage in the development, application and maintenance of general application software and CAD and CAI software.
3. Computer information management direction: able to engage in the application, development and maintenance of information management systems.
4. Computer network direction: able to participate in computer network construction, management and application development.
5. Students majoring in electronic information science and technology can engage in the design of electronic equipment after graduation, and conduct research, design, development, management and maintenance of various electronic circuits, equipment and systems, such as being electronic engineers; I can be a software and network engineer, design and develop all kinds of hardware-related software, manage and maintain computer networks, and of course I can continue to study as a teacher and engage in teaching and scientific research.
