Yunxian to Shiyan section (under construction)

Yunxian (Hubei-Henan provincial boundary)-Shiyan Expressway starts from a valley on the Hubei-Henan provincial boundary, passes through Tanshan, Baisangguan, Yangxipu, Chadian, Qingshan Town and Shiyan Maojian District in Yunxian County, and connects with the tenth bid section of Yin Fu Expressway in Huichuangou, Shiyan Maojian District. The recommended route is 67.268 kilometers long. The whole line adopts the standard construction of two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 80km/h, a subgrade width of 24.5m and a construction period of 48 months. The investment approved by the project is estimated to be 6.479 billion yuan, and the average cost per kilometer is 92.24 million yuan.

Guzhu Expressway, which runs through Gucheng and Baokang counties in Xiangfan City, was started on February 26th, 2009 in five major traffic construction projects of Dongxihu Development Zone and Tongxiao Expressway in Wuhan.

Guzhu Expressway is an important part of the "six vertical, five horizontal and one ring" skeleton highway network planned by the state and Hubei Province. It starts from Daozuo Temple, Shihua Town, Gucheng County, and connects with Xiangfan-Shiyan section of Yin Fu Expressway. The highway passes through Gucheng and Baokang in Xiangfan City, Fangyuan County, Zhushan County and Zhuxi County in Shiyan City, and ends at Luohanya at the junction of Hubei and Shaanxi in Zhuxi County. The whole project starts from Chengguan Town, Baokang County, Xiangyang City, connects with Ma Zhu Expressway, passes through Nanzhang County, Xiangyang City and Yuan 'an County, Yichang City, and ends in Shuanglian, dangyang city City, Yichang City, connecting with Jingyi Expressway. The total length of the route is 143 km, of which Yichang section is 67.6 km, and the estimated total investment of the project is about12.26 billion yuan. The highway is a two-way four-lane expressway with a running speed of 80km/h, a subgrade width of 24.5m and a construction period of 42 months.

Yichang-Cili section (under construction)

20 12 On September 26th, with the order of Huang Chuping, member of the Standing Committee of Hubei Provincial Party Committee and secretary of Yichang Municipal Party Committee, Yichang section of Yichang-Zhangjiajie Expressway was officially started. After the opening of Yizhang Expressway, Zhangjiajie and the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River will break the mountainous barrier in Wuling Mountain area and realize two-hour direct access.
