Download the device network search tool "SADP", service support-download-tool software-network camera configuration management software in Hikvision official website. After downloading, follow the prompts to select the type of device needed to install the search tool.
Note: Some CD-ROMs of video cameras or hard disk recorders may have search software suitable for this device. You can directly install the search software attached to the CD-ROMs.
Make sure that the computer and the device that needs to reset the password are in the same LAN, and pay attention to the IP addresses of the computer and the device in the same network segment.
The default IP of the device is generally: 192. 168. 1 .64, subnet mask: 255.255.0, gateway:192.1. The attached file usually includes information about the default IP.
Open the search software and type the number of the device whose password needs to be reset (on the left side of the software). After selecting the device, click "Forgot Password" in the lower right corner.
Hikvision has launched a self-reset password function on WeChat official account. Pay attention to Hikvision's customer service on WeChat official account, click Intimate Service, reset password, and select SADP scan recovery. Scan the QR code on the SADP search software. Select "Export File" on the SADP search software, send this file to the branch company for after-sales, and then input the key information provided by the parties into the "Step 2" and "Manual Input" boxes to reset the password. Note: This operation prompts that password recovery failed. Please turn off the camera and search again. After exporting the file, get the key information and repeat the above operation.
Finally, reset the password of the hard disk video recorder.

If it cannot be recovered:
1, restart the device and try again;
2. If the serial number is entered manually, check whether the serial number is entered correctly;
