Basra Flamingo in Nanchang People's Park

In order to escape the war, two pairs of beautiful Basra flamingos went through many twists and turns and settled in Nanchang in April 2003. The bird forest in Nanchang People's Park has become a peaceful and happy new home for the flamingos in Basra.

Two pairs of flamingos left Basra Park on March 10, 2003, and Iraq was shrouded in the clouds of war. In order to make the "guests" from afar adapt to life in a foreign land as soon as possible, Nanchang People's Park invested 654.38+10,000 yuan in the Bird Language Forest to build a "villa" with the feelings of the old country. The park specially sent two keepers to take care of the flamingos' diet, and everything they fed was cooked. Because flamingos like to live in groups and are afraid of loneliness, the breeder will blow the bird whistle from time to time to scare other birds into the sky and make the new flamingos not feel lonely.

Flamingos are only distributed intermittently in the Caribbean, Africa, southwestern Europe and Asia. After the flamingo from Basra arrived in Nanchang, it immediately attracted the attention of the public. Enthusiastic citizens gather outside the Woods from time to time to visit and see their faces. Bathed in the afterglow of the sunset, I sometimes comb my feathers with my upturned beak and sometimes swing my slender legs. I wandered in the forest of birds and lived in harmony with colorful peacock, tall ostrich and other animal friends around me.
