The Transformation Experience from Gout Patients to ultramarathon Athletes

I have written some simple gout recovery instructions before to share my situation with you, but everyone said it was not detailed enough. I solved my lazy illness and finally got this article out.

? My first gout attack was probably on a summer night in 2003 or 2004. I suddenly woke up in my sleep in the middle of the night. I thought it was a leg cramp, but according to the previous practice, I found that my ankle was swollen and tears flowed out. I asked my wife to spray Yunnan Baiyao spray on my ankle to feel better, and then I went to the refrigerator to ice the affected area. I fell asleep for a long time.

? When I went to work the next day, I found that the soles of my feet and ankles were swollen like a big steamed bun, and my shoes could not be worn. Finally, I wore slippers and moved to work step by step. When the soles of my feet hit the ground, I felt like a needle stuck in it. Gout patients are not unfamiliar with this kind of pain.

? At that time, I thought it might be caused by a sprained sole, but it didn't get better after taking the trauma medicine, but I felt more swollen. The next day, I went to the hospital for an examination. Blood test showed that uric acid was more than 500 yuan. The doctor said it was gout, so I directly prescribed a combination of colchicine, alloxan and baking soda tablets. After taking the medicine, the affected area returned to normal on the third day.

? Later, I went to check the information about gout. Anyway, the purine in the body is too high to form uric acid, and excessive accumulation of uric acid will form crystals.

? Well, according to the internet, eat more vegetarian food, less food with high purine content, no broth, no wine, no seafood and less meat. All you need is to send the salt directly to the rice porridge to minimize exercise and avoid recurrence.

? From then on, I knew that I had the incurable "incurable disease of the century".

? From the first attack, gout attacks occur almost every year in the following days. Take colchicine for a day after the attack. People have become accustomed to it, and gradually they don't take gout seriously.

? Life always teaches forgetful people a profound lesson. At the beginning of 2009, gout broke out, and eating colchicine had no effect on diarrhea. And because I was on a business trip, I recovered after eating colchicine for a day or two. The difference is that this gout has been bothering me for almost two months, during which I ate a lot of colchicine. Ligali fresh, English too clear, baking soda tablets, don't scoop alcohol taste almost the same, finally normal, but I dare not take gout seriously.

? Soon, a group of friends met to have a full-body experience. The examination results frightened a group of young people in their early 30s, with fatty liver, high blood lipid viscosity and high blood pressure. I also saw the trend of blood vessel wall hardening on the laboratory sheet, and the whole person became ill at once.

? With gout, the body is particularly prone to fatigue. I slept 1 hour on the sofa after work every day, and I was depressed when I got sick. The doctor's advice is to exercise a little and then control your diet. With these diseases at this age, there are still two-thirds of the way to go in life. I want to think about it, but I don't want to take medicine, and I don't want to do things that only old people in their seventies and eighties can do.

? What are we going to do? Simply taking medicine is too passive, waiting for death. I found that gout and sub-health diseases have many similarities, and most people with gout attacks are related to obesity and careless diet. Can you restore your body to a healthy state through some exercise, and then restore the normal functions of various organs of your body?

? Do as you say. It's useless to practice equipment for a long time before. Swimming requires high environment and there is not so much time. Finally, according to my own test, I chose jogging.

? I started running in the summer of 2009. I still remember reading in magazines that the best way to lose weight was to "run 5 kilometers three times a week", but at that time, it was as difficult for me to run 5 kilometers at a time as a long March of 20,000 miles.

That day, I put on running equipment, put on Bluetooth headphones, played songs, ran and ran, half tired, picked up my mobile phone and looked at it. What? The distance has not reached 1 km. Are you kidding? But I feel that it has been running for a century. Sweat keeps coming out of my head, my knees are supported by my hands, and my throat is as hot as fire with my heavy breathing. Well, I really can't run, so I have to walk slowly. My first run ended with 1 km.

Running is really boring at first, so try to overcome it, such as joining a local running group and finding runners at the same speed. After a period of time, it was obvious that my whole body seemed to be reborn, my spirit was good, and I was no longer sleepy. This kind of exercise is more effective.

? During the recovery from jogging, I also tried drinking water brewed with baking soda powder (the method was changed because of indigestion caused by eating sodium bicarbonate tablets), and I also tried soaking in water by machine, soaking in wild chrysanthemum and soaking in plantain, and drinking 2 liters of big pot every day to control my water consumption; Almost all these low-cost and low-risk remedies have been tried, but they are not as magical as the legend.

? In order to reduce uric acid, I was still drinking, but I only ate a bottle intermittently (I would stop eating 1 week for 2 weeks to prevent overreaction), and some allergic reactions stopped taking medicine.

? I also tried to eat semi-vegetarian. Eat steamed bread and boiled water for breakfast, Chinese food is a normal fast food, and dinner is fried with diced carrots and corn kernels. After eating for 2 months, I finally chose to return to the carnivore, because I couldn't stand the days in Tai Su.

? Therefore, jogging+diet control+drinking water control+going to bed before 23 o'clock every night, I haven't had gout attacks since 20 10, and I haven't taken related drugs.

? At first, I controlled to run three times a week for more than 40 minutes each time, regardless of the distance.

? In the first month, 1 hour can run 4 kilometers;

? In the second month, 1 hour ran 5 kilometers;

? After the fourth month, I was led by a runner for 8 kilometers; In the next few days, I ran at least 8 kilometers at a time.

? 20 1 1, 12, 10 take part in the Nanning half marathon and run 2 1 km in 2 hours and 36 minutes.

? When running becomes a habit, I love this sport more and more. Not only am I healthier, but more importantly, gout is gone, which makes me full of confidence and can face life with a more positive attitude, unlike the negative attitude when I was sick before. Besides running, I will also take part in mountaineering, hiking and kayaking.

? Last year, in order to test my physical recovery, I participated in the 70km cross-country race (about 100km for road race) held in Lantau Island, Hong Kong at the end of June, 20 16. Please refer to my travel notes for details. I finished the race in 15 minutes because I didn't control the pace of the race for the first time. But I didn't feel pain after the game, and 17 hours of overload exercise didn't make my gout attack. I dare not say that I can cure gout. At least my body is much stronger now than my old one. I hope my memory notes on the recovery process can make everyone as healthy as me.

The uric acid value of 20 16 10 is 490, the weight is about 140, the waist circumference is 82CM, there are no papules on the outer contour of the ear, no fatty liver, no diet control, and no gout-related drugs.
