Three-layer hollow tempered glass has one more layer of glass than ordinary double-layer glass. We know that the thermal insulation effect of windows mainly depends on the K value, and the smaller the K value, the better the thermal insulation effect of windows. At present, the K values of most doors and windows on the market are between 2.0 and 3.0. In order to reduce the K value of doors and windows and make windows have higher heat insulation and energy saving effects, it is necessary to choose better glass structure and reduce the K value.
Sandwich hollow tempered glass
Sandwich hollow tempered glass is widely used in residential areas with high requirements for sound insulation, such as airports, highways, main roads, shopping malls and other buildings. For customers with high requirements for sound insulation of windows, we usually recommend the use of laminated hollow tempered glass, which can effectively reduce high-frequency noise and medium-low frequency noise. This kind of glass structure is also a higher structure in the current glass window structure, with a k value of 2.2. If you want to improve the thermal insulation to a higher level, you need to use Low-E glass, that is, laminated hollow Low-E tempered glass.
The aluminum doors and windows of the broken bridge in the north are basically double-layer hollow tempered glass. If conditions permit, you can choose three layers of hollow tempered glass. Choose three layers of glass, heat and sound insulation, environmental protection and energy saving. Double-layer hollow tempered glass or triple-layer hollow tempered glass is recommended in southern China. Due to the long summer time and relatively hot weather in southern China, we choose Low-E glass with double or triple glazing to save energy for enterprises and greatly increase and reduce the cost of air conditioning and heating companies in summer and winter.
