Rural commercial banks (formerly rural credit cooperatives) are an important part of China's financial system and the main cooperative financial organization form at present. China Rural Commercial Bank is an independent enterprise legal person, responsible for the debts of rural credit cooperatives with all its assets, enjoying civil rights and bearing civil liabilities according to law.
The establishment time of rural commercial banks in each city is different:
1. Chengdu Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. was established with the approval of China Banking Regulatory Commission on June 5438+February, 2009, with its headquarters in Chengdu.
2. Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank") was formerly known as Chongqing Rural Credit Cooperative and was established in 195 1. In 2003, Chongqing became one of the first pilot provinces and cities of rural credit cooperatives reform in China. In 2008, the rural commercial bank with unified legal person in the city was established.
3. Shenzhen Rural Commercial Bank was established in June, 2005. Approved by the China Banking Regulatory Commission, it is the first batch of joint-stock rural commercial banks in China that have been restructured from rural credit cooperatives in cities above the sub-provincial level, and it is also the only local corporate bank in Shenzhen.
