Is CCCC No.2 Aviation Administration a state-owned enterprise or a central enterprise?

CCCC Second Navigation Bureau usually refers to CCCC Second Navigation Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., which is a state-owned enterprise and a central enterprise. CCCC No.2 Navigation Bureau was established in 1950, and it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Communications Construction Group Corporation. Now it has developed into a company integrating design, construction, scientific research and capital operation, focusing on road and bridge, port and shipping, railway and municipal engineering construction.

CCCC Second Waterway Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd. has 18 branches, 9 subsidiaries and 7 shareholding holding companies, and has the qualifications of general contracting of highway engineering, general contracting of port and waterway engineering and general contracting of municipal public works. There are nearly 7500 employees. At present, there are more than 90 large-scale engineering ships and more than 4,200 sets of large-scale engineering machinery and equipment. The advanced nature and novelty coefficient of the equipment are at the leading level in the same industry. In 2003, No.2 Aviation Administration passed the certification of integrated management system of quality, environment and occupational safety and health. In 2007, the Bridge and Tunnel Laboratory of No.2 Aviation Administration was recognized as the Key Laboratory of Changda Bridge of the Ministry of Communications. In 2009, the Technology Center of No.2 Aviation Administration was recognized as a national technology center.

As the main force in the field of water conservancy construction in China, No.2 Navigation Bureau has made great contributions to the construction of port and waterway in China, building more than 200 docks of various types. In recent years, No.2 Aviation Administration has participated in the construction of national key projects such as the North Breakwater of Huanghua Port and the second phase of deepwater channel regulation in the Yangtze River estuary. In 2008, the main project of Yangkou Port artificial island in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, which was undertaken by the Second Navigation Bureau, was successfully completed, successfully creating a precedent for the construction of artificial islands off the sea in China.

In 1990s, No.2 Aviation Administration entered the bridge construction market from a high starting point, devoted itself to building the first brand of Chinese bridge construction enterprises, and undertook and participated in the construction of nearly 100 river-crossing, sea-crossing and highway bridges. In the construction of Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, Jingzhou Yangtze River Bridge, Wuhan Junshan Bridge, Ehuang Yangtze River Bridge, Runyang Yangtze River Bridge, Nanjing Yangtze River Third Bridge, Wuhan Yangluo Yangtze River Bridge, Xiamen Jimei Bridge and Nanchang Hongdu Bridge, each project was rewritten.
