In 2006, the output of steel and timber in Liugang exceeded 5 million tons, and its main business exceeded 20 billion yuan. In 2006, Liugang ranked 53rd among the world's iron and steel enterprises (with an annual output of more than 2 million tons of crude steel) and ranked 146 among the 500 largest enterprise groups in China announced by the National Bureau of Statistics. At the same time, in the ranking of the top 500 Chinese enterprises in 2007, Liugang ranked first among the top 50 industrial enterprises in Guangxi with 187. Liugang, steel and timber all have an annual comprehensive production capacity of 6 million tons, and have a 12 main production plant and corresponding auxiliary facilities such as coking, sintering, pelletizing, ironmaking, steelmaking and rolling. It has modern production equipment such as 6m large coke oven, 2.4 million tons oxidized pellet production line, 1250 m3 blast furnace,100t converter, 2800mm four-high mill, high-speed wire rod mill, medium-sized continuous rolling production line, cold-rolled strip and hot-rolled strip production line, and can produce six series of products with hundreds of specifications, such as hot-rolled wide strip, cold-rolled strip, medium plate, bar and wire rod.
