Propylene pigment is a kind of painting pigment, which is a dispersed pigment made of polymethyl methacrylate dissolved in mineral oil essence. Sometimes they are called pure propylene pigments or plastic pigments to distinguish them from polymeric pigments made of propylene and other water-soluble resins. Acrylic pigment will not turn yellow, nor will it dry quickly, and it is easy to wash off with mineral alcohol or turpentine. These characteristics make them suitable for paints in paint preservation to repair damaged or smeared parts.
Pipeline-mounted acrylic pigments with plasticizers are sold by manufacturers under the trade name Magna pigments. Similarly, there is a special vinyl resin solvent, which is insoluble in turpentine and mineral alcohol, called Magna varnish. Magna varnish can also be used as interlayer oil, which can also play the same role in oil painting, because acrylic pigment is easy to dissolve and cannot be painted repeatedly.
