On March 8, 2003, the high-speed wire rod production line of No.2 Steel was successfully put into production. June 65438+1October 65438+June 2003, No.2 2500 m3 blast furnace of Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. was completed and put into operation, which marked that the annual pig iron production capacity of Maanshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. jumped to a new level of 8 million tons. On June 65438+1October 65438+August, 2003, the first coil was successfully rolled on the hot-rolled plate production line, ending the history of non-hot-rolled coil production in Anhui Province.
On February 28, 2004, the first cold-rolled coil was rolled off the production line of cold-rolled sheet, and the cold-rolled sheet project was put into production smoothly. On March 20, 2004, the first roll of galvanized sheet was successfully rolled off the production line of hot dip galvanizing.
