After the establishment of Fuxin Iron and Steel Plant, a large amount of money was invested in expansion and technical transformation, forming a joint-stock private enterprise. Now the company covers an area of more than 380 mu, with employees 1.500 and technicians 1.58, including 77 technicians with senior titles. The total assets are 350 million yuan, and the main facilities are: a 35KV substation, a 1500kW waste heat power station, a 3800M3/ h oxygen making station and a self-provided railway line. The main equipments are: 3 blast furnaces, 20-ton top-blown converter, 300-ton mixer, R6M continuous caster and a set of 550 rolling mills; There are 13 roughing mill, intermediate mill and pre-finishing mill, a heating furnace and furnace pusher, a set of flying shears, a set of cooling bed and a set of cold shears, etc. The above equipment has been approved by the Provincial Bureau of Technical Supervision, and the main equipment conforms to the national equipment policy.
