Brief introduction of Yangtze River shipping industry

Yang Zijiang Shipbuilding is one of the major shipbuilding groups in China. In terms of output and manufacturing technology, this group is the second largest private shipbuilding group in China shipbuilding industry. In the mid-1990s, the group was the first shipbuilding company in China to build medium-sized container ships and bulk carriers.

From the privatization of 1999 to the end of 2007, the group has delivered more than 65,438+000 medium bulk carriers, container ships and other types of ships to customers, and gradually built 4,250TEU container ships and 92,500 DWT bulk carriers.

Through its two subsidiaries, Yang Zijiang Shipyard Co., Ltd. ("Old Shipyard") and New Yangzi Shipyard Co., Ltd. ("New Shipyard"), the Group builds various types of merchant ships, including bulk carriers, container ships and multi-functional cargo ships.

The new shipyard is located in Jingjiang Park, Jiangyin Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, China, on the north bank of the golden waterway in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It has 1 0,200 meters of deep-water coastline of the Yangtze River and two 654.38+10,000-ton dry docks, covering an area of 793,000 square meters.

Based on the concept of integration of design, construction and management, the company actively promotes precision shipbuilding and digital shipbuilding. The main products are container ships below 6000TEU and bulk carriers below 100000 dwt, and they are actively developing towards large ships. Shipbuilding production capacity and scale rank among the top enterprises in China Shipbuilding Industry 10.

This old shipyard has a shipbuilding history of more than 50 years. It is located in Jiangyin City, Jiangsu Province, China, on the south bank of the golden waterway in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It has berths of about 800 meters, 50,000-ton berths, 30,000-ton berths and 6,543,800+5,000-ton berths, covering an area of 200,000 square meters.

The main products are dry bulk carriers below 500,000 tons and container ships below 3000TEU. The company has passed the ISO900 1:2000 quality management system certification of China Classification Society, and the product quality has been well received by CCS, LR, GL, ABS, BV, NK, DNV and other major classification societies, as well as shipowners in Germany, Britain, Canada, Japan, Australia, Norway, Italy and Southeast Asian countries. The company's shipbuilding production scale and economic benefits have been in the forefront of China shipbuilding enterprises.

Jiangsu Runzhou Ship Fittings Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Group in Jingjiang, is located next to the new shipyard, covering an area of 280,900 square meters.

Shanghai Gao Heng Ship Design Company, a subsidiary of the Group, is mainly engaged in the design and concept development of various merchant ships.
