Tianjin Yaopi Glass Co., Ltd. (formerly Tianjin Riban Float Glass Co., Ltd., a Sino-Japanese joint venture) was established in April 1995, covering an area of 3 1 hectare. Located on the west side of Beiweidi Road Refinery, Dagang District, Binhai New Area, Tianjin, 40 kilometers away from Tianjin and 30 kilometers away from tanggu port, the traffic is very convenient. There is a special railway line in the factory to facilitate the transportation of raw materials, fuel and products.

Guangdong Yaopi Glass Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Guangdong Yaopi or GSYP) was originally named Guangdong Float Glass Co., Ltd., and in 1984, Southern Glass Co., Ltd., composed of four shareholders, including China Merchants Steamship Co., Ltd. and China North Industries Co., Ltd., signed a contract with Hong Kong Pan Huaya Co., Ltd., composed of American International Industry Corporation and Thailand Zheng Investment Company.
