Galaxy Image announced the separation, and Du Qifeng decided to set up his own business and switch to his new owner Huanya. In April last year, Galaxy Image Company, founded by Du Qifeng himself, published the book "Galaxy Image, Hard to Imagine", which explained in detail the creation process of 10 works taken by the company in the past ten years, in order to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the founding of Galaxy Image Company. Today, this book seems to be the last commemoration of Galaxy Image Company.
According to the variety report, Du Qifeng decided to start his own business, and will pay HK$ 26 million to the listed company, taking away its two subsidiaries, Galaxy Image Hong Kong Branch and Little Star Company, and Du Qifeng's entire production team, equipment and new film project will also leave. The other two subsidiaries are led by Dennis Law.
If the spin-off of Galaxy Image is approved by independent shareholders, once the resolution is passed, the listed company will be renamed as Caiyi Multimedia Holdings Limited.
Du Qifeng changed to a new owner, Huanya;
According to informed sources, the contradiction between Du Qifeng and Dennis Law has been heated up as early as last year, and Du Qifeng has already had the idea of starting his own business. Because he is mainly responsible for the film production process in the company, he has been cooperating with Huaxing Company in Xiang Huaqiang before investing, and his royal actor Liu Qingyun is also a signing actor of Huaxing. However, with the closure of China Star, Du Qifeng began to look for new investors.
Mainly during the transition period, Galaxy Image is currently in administrative succession and needs to explore the mainland market, so it is inevitable that many bad films will be made.
