Dongfeng Motor Corporation is one of the four largest automobile groups in China and one of the top 500 Chinese brands. Its headquarters is located in Wuhan, the largest city in central China. Its predecessor was 1969, the "Second Automobile Factory" established in Shiyan, Hubei.

In April of 200 1 year, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. was announced. In March 2003, Dongfeng Motor Company repurchased the shares held by other shareholders of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., changed Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. to Dongfeng Motor Industry Investment Co., Ltd., and later changed it to Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd.
