Fortune 500 Biomedical Enterprises

The "Top 500" we usually say is that Fortune magazine ranks the top 500 companies according to the global ranking once a year.

Among the top 500 enterprises in the world, there are many enterprises in China, but not many biomedical enterprises. Because biomedicine is good at high technology, the overall level of this field in China lags behind, and there are not many drugs produced by private companies in limited quantities, and state-owned enterprises are not profitable.

Among the 20 19 Fortune 500 companies, there are more than 40 companies involved in biomedicine, but I found that 20 companies are mainly engaged in biomedicine. The specific rankings are as follows.

1, 17, mckesson;

2. 19, CVS is healthy; ;

3, 27, Meiyuan Bergen;

4, 38, Gardeno; ?

5, 40, Wobo Union; ?

China China Resources Co., Ltd.; ?

7. 109, Johnson & Johnson;

Roche Switzerland 8,163;

9. 169, China pharmaceutical group;

10, 198, Pfizer;

1 1, 20 1, Novartis; ?

12,240, Bayer Group;

13,285, Merck;

14,288, Sanofi;

15,296, GlaxoSmithKline, UK; ?

16, Fei Sen Yus Group;

17,381,monastery;

18,408, Abbott; ?

19,412, Phoenix Medicine;

20,419, Medtronic.

It can be seen that there are only two enterprises in China, both of which are state-owned enterprises. However, these two pharmaceutical companies rank well, and China Resources ranks 80 th, which has entered the top of the world100; China Pharmaceutical Group also ranks 169, surpassing most foreign pharmaceutical companies.

The top five are mainly pharmaceutical sales. It seems that although the research and development of new drugs can be monopolized, the cost is not generally high.
