MOCVD operators, what is the future? Is this work technical?

With the expanding market of compound semiconductor devices (such as GaAs MMIC, InP MMIC, GaN blue LED), the demand for MOCVD system is increasing. At present, the most powerful MOCVD system manufacturers in the world are Ai Siqiang in Germany, Emcore in America and Thomas ~ (1999 was merged by Ai Siqiang) in Britain. Because the key problem of MOCVD system is to ensure the uniformity and repeatability of material growth, the main difference between MOCVD systems of different manufacturers lies in the structure of reaction chamber. Aixtron uses a planetary reactor, Emcore uses a turbine disk reaction chamber (the business has been sold to Veeeo Company), and Thomas Swan (the company was merged by Aixtron in February 2003) uses a closed coupled spray head (CCS) reaction chamber. At present, there are about 200 MOCVD systems imported from China, of which Aixtron MOCVD system and Emcore MOCVD system account for the vast majority, and there are a few Thomas Swan MOCVD systems, French ASM MOCVD systems and Japanese RIPPON SANSO MOCVD systems, which are mainly used for the research and manufacture of GaN LD/LEDs.
