1993 graduated from the Department of Geography of Beijing Normal University with a bachelor's degree, 1998 graduated from the Institute of Geography of China Academy of Sciences with a doctorate in geographic information system, and then worked in the postdoctoral mobile station of the Institute of Remote Sensing Application of Chinese Academy of Sciences, leaving the station in June 2000. Now he works in Institute of Geographical Sciences and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences, engaged in GIS software technology research and geographic information technology industrialization.
1997 participated in the establishment of Beijing SuperMap Geographic Information Technology Co., Ltd., presided over the research and development of SuperMap GIS software products, and served as manager of R&D center, general manager of software division, executive vice president and current president of SuperMap Company.
