Historical Evolution of China's Heavy Industry

China Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. was approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), with CSIC as the main sponsor and Angang Group and Aerospace Science and Technology Group jointly sponsoring the establishment. 1May, 982, according to the Notice of the State Council on Establishing China Shipbuilding Corporation (Guo Fa [1982] No.81), China Shipbuilding Corporation was established on the basis of enterprises and institutions directly under the former Sixth Ministry of Machinery Industry and enterprises and institutions directly under the Ministry of Communications 15, and it was directly led by the State Council. 1July, 1999, according to the requirements of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on the reform of the military management system, and with the approval of the State Council's Reply on Relevant Issues Concerning the Establishment of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (Guo Han [1999] No.60), China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation was established on the basis of some enterprises and institutions owned by the former China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation. It is a state-owned super-large enterprise managed by the central government and authorized by the state. It mainly manages 46 secondary enterprises and 28 scientific research institutes, which are distributed in more than 20 provinces and cities across the country.
