Introduction to DMI
DMI refers to direct media interface. DMI is a bus developed by Intel Corporation to connect the north-south bridge of the motherboard, replacing the previous Hub-Link bus. DMI adopts point-to-point connection, and the clock frequency is 100MHz. Because it is based on PCI-Express bus, it also adopts 8bit/ 10bit (effective bit width is 8bit) coding, so it has the advantages of PCI-E bus.
