First, just do your job well before the company announces the list of layoffs. If the company wants to lay off employees, I believe many people will be on pins and needles. However, no matter how you react, the company has probably made a list of layoffs. So just do your own thing before publishing the list.
Second, if you are lucky enough not to be laid off by the company, you should work harder. If you find that you have not been laid off after the layoff list is published, don't be too happy about it. Because if there is a first round of layoffs, there may be a second round. So in the next few days, you should work harder and try to avoid the second round of layoffs.
Third, if you are unfortunately laid off by the company, don't blame your old boss too much. Maybe you are the employee who was unfortunately laid off by the company. If so, don't criticize the company's decision too much. At least, the company gave you a chance to get together and have a good rest. Maybe your next job will suit you better, and then you should thank your old employer.
The above is how employees respond to layoffs in the company. As long as they face each other calmly, they can understand and respect each other. Do you have any different opinions?
