When it comes to Shanghai, the first thing that comes to mind is the bustling metropolis and the three-piece Lujiazui Oriental Pearl, which is tired of the busy life in the city. On weekends, they always want to climb mountains around and relax. Last weekend, I accidentally learned that there are mountains to climb in Songjiang District, Shanghai, and it is a national forest park, so I immediately set off and started a secret adventure tour of Sheshan National Forest Park.
Transportation mode of Sheshan National Forest Park:
Shanghai Stadium takes the line, West Bus Station takes the Shanghai-Chen line, and Shanghai-Shekun line goes to Sheshan. There are direct tourist buses in nanpu bridge, Shanghai Gymnasium, North Bus Station and Shanghai West Railway Station. Shanghai, Minhang, Songjiang and Pudong can take Rail Transit Line 9 to Sheshan Station, and Pudong Airport can take Line 2 and transfer to Line 9 at Century Avenue Station. There are buses to Sheshan in Songjiang, Qingpu, Jiading, Jinshan and Fengxian.
Self-driving route: urban area-Yan 'an Elevated Road-entrance section of Shanghai-Chongqing Expressway (G50 Highway)-Zhongchun Road-Hu Song Highway-Shenzhuan Highway-Waiqingsong Highway.
I went to Sheshan by bus. It only took me an hour to get here from Minhang, and the traffic was very good. Because it is a suburb and there will be no traffic jams, Sheshan can be said to be one of the most convenient places around Shanghai.
Introduction of one-day tour in Sheshan, Shanghai
I didn't start until noon. Sheshan National Forest Park tells about Happy Valley and Maya Paradise. You can stay here for a few more days if you have enough time for the small holiday. When I arrive, it will be one o'clock in the afternoon.
Only when I came to the door did I know that Sheshan National Forest Park was divided into Dongsheshan Park and Xisheshan Park. Dongsheshan Park is 74 meters above sea level. Although it is not high, the mountain climbing is far better than the usual mountain climbing addiction, and because it has just rained, the air in Sheshan is relatively fresh.
Walking into the gate, there are not many tourists, mainly grandparents who bring their children to play, but fewer people are also an advantage. I remember climbing Huashan Mountain before. A bunch of people were stuck on the plank road and couldn't move, but when they reached the top of the mountain, they couldn't see anything and were soaked to the skin. The experience is very bad.
Shambhala, a unique paradise in Yunnan and Tibet, is also an ideal pure land in my heart, but it is being threatened by plastic waste. I came to Sheshan National Forest Park to explore the secret. I picked up a leaf and was ready to start cleaning up the garbage. The road up the mountain is a long staircase with trees on both sides.
Halfway through, it began to rain. Shanghai has been hit by a typhoon recently, so it often rains. Showers can come several times a day, so I run to a place with many trees nearby to shelter from the rain. After the rain stopped, I continued climbing the mountain. Looking at the steps that have just climbed from above, it is quite shocking.
When I looked up and saw the lush trees, my mood suddenly improved.
The wolf found a pile of fallen leaves, so he planned to collect them and throw them into the trash can.
There are many snack bars and coffee shops near the top of the mountain. When you are free, you can sit in the mountains and have a cup of coffee and listen to birds singing. This experience of returning to nature is also very good. Of course, the canteen can sell instant noodles and rice at night, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry after climbing to the top of the mountain.
On a viewing platform at the top of the mountain, you can see residential areas and other peaks in the distance.
The map shows that I have reached the top of Dongshe Mountain, and I will go down Xishe Mountain next.
There are many tourists on the top of the mountain.
There is also a cableway at the top of Dongshe Mountain. According to the tourists around us, this cableway used to connect Dongshe Mountain and Xishe Mountain, so you can go to Xishe Mountain directly by cableway. But later, because there were too few tourists, the ropeway stopped and was transformed into a forest fire prevention observatory. Unfortunately, Dongshe Mountain can't be seen from the air. Good thing I have a drone.
Let's take a look at a big wave of high-definition aerial photos. This orange building is the Fire Eye Tower of Dongshe Mountain. If it is open, tourists can go sightseeing. Behind Sheshan are residential areas and lakes.
After the drone was released, it was close to 3 pm. I found the way down the mountain and started to set off for Xishe Mountain.
It takes about 15 minutes from the top of Dongshe Mountain to the east gate of Xishe Mountain. If there is not enough time, it is recommended to visit Xishe Mountain, because there are many scenic spots in Xishe Mountain, unlike Dongshe Mountain, where there are only a bunch of trees.
Enter from the east gate of the park and look at the shower tower first. This pagoda was built during the reign of Taiping Xing in the Northern Song Dynasty (976~984). According to legend, there was a monk named Xiu who built a house near An to practice, which was called monasticism. He raised money to build a tower and lit it himself, hence the name shower tower.
There is a pavilion called Tiger Tree Pavilion near the tower. According to Yun Jian Zhi in the Southern Song Dynasty, in the second year of Taiping Xingguo (978), a Decong monk came here to participate in building a house meditation and died in July of the first year of Tianxi in the Northern Song Dynasty (10 17). His two tigers died at the same time, both buried beside the tower of the victim of the performance. After that, two ginkgo trees grew in the area, and someone built a pavilion in the middle, named Tiger Tree Pavilion.
Zhu Baoguang Tower, commonly known as the "Leaning Tower", is located on the right side of Tianyu Peak. It was built by Xu Wenquan, a native of Hengshan in the second year of Yuanfeng in the Northern Song Dynasty (1079). In the twenty-seventh year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1 157), Emperor Gaozong gave five-color relics to be hidden in this tower, so it was very precious.
In the Qing Dynasty, the incense in tianmashan was still very prosperous. According to the Records of Filial Piety in Mingzhai by the Qing People's Association, in the fifty-third year of Qianlong (1788), firecrackers were set off in the temple to offer sacrifices to the gods, which caused a fire, burning down the tower core wood, stairs, waist eaves and flat halls, all of which were destroyed, leaving only the brick tower body.
Xia's Songjiang people, father and son are leaders of Nanming and Kangqing. In the second year of Qing Shunzhi (1645), after the Qing army captured Nanjing, Xia rose up in Songjiang and drowned himself. Xia Wanchun/Kloc-joined the army with his father at the age of 0/4, and continued to organize insurgents after his father died.
Wushu participated in Taihu Lake and failed again. Xia Wanchun was arrested, transferred to Nanjing and killed at the age of 17. Xia and his son are buried in Xiao Kunshan, a park surrounded by running water. 1956 summer, tomb rebuilt, 196 1 year, Chen Yi wrote a tombstone.
There are many scenic spots on the tourist map of Dongshe Mountain.
The road up the mountain is still a quiet path.
Boarding a large observation deck in the parking lot, you can see a panoramic view of Dongshe Mountain and its surroundings, and you can see further places with binoculars.
Walking on, I saw one of the most amazing sights of this trip: Sheshan Catholic Church entered the Notre Dame Hall in Kyonosuke. Its full name is Sheshan Cathedral, also known as Notre Dame de Sheshan.
Church, Sheshan Catholic Church, Notre Dame de Sheshan Hall, Notre Dame de Far East Hall. Located at the top of Sheshan Mountain in Songjiang District, China, it is a famous pilgrimage site of Notre Dame de China, which enjoys the same reputation as Notre Dame de Rhodes.
1942, this temple was canonized as a chapel by Pope pope pius xii, which was the first temple canonized by Pope in the Far East. 1946, the Holy See gave Sheshan special favor and allowed her to be crowned. Sheshan is the only active national Catholic pilgrimage center in China.
The church was founded by French missionaries in 187 1 and completed in 1935. As early as 1844, the French missionary Bao Lu came here to survey the terrain and prepare to build a house. Since then, religious facilities have been expanding. It combines various architectural styles and adopts four structures: no wood, no nails, no steel and no beam, which is a model of asymmetry. Since the 1940s, it has been a world-famous Catholic shrine and the most important pilgrimage site for Catholics in China.
Unfortunately, because I came too late, the church has stopped opening, so I can't go in and have a look. It is said that the interior of this church is made of aluminum.
The altar in the hall is made of marble. The windows of the main hall are inlaid with stained glass, and the top is covered with blue glazed tiles. The towering bell tower, with eight big bells arranged according to certain notes, has a spire of 38 meters high, and is a statue of the Virgin made of copper, with a height of 8 meters.
The cross-shaped baby Jesus with his hands held high symbolizes welcoming pilgrims from all over the world. 1942, the Pope named Sheshan Catholic Church "Temple", which became a holy place for Catholics to make pilgrimage in China.
On the winding path from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, there is 147 Bitter Pavilion. Each pavilion has a relief of the crucifixion of Jesus, three sacred pavilions and a nave. The bitter pavilion, the holy pavilion, the middle hall and the church on the top of the mountain are connected by a bitter road. Believers make a pilgrimage to Sheshan, taking a tortuous road step by step and experiencing the sufferings of Jesus' generation.
Sheshan Catholic Church was built by French missionaries on the top of Sheshan Mountain. Its architectural feature is the integration of mountains, rivers and buildings in the overall design, and the colors are harmonious and natural. The church combines Greek, Roman and Gothic architectural arts in one furnace, and some of them adopt China traditional techniques, which can be described as a combination of Chinese and Western; Macroscopically, it fully embodies the aesthetic principles of symmetry and asymmetry in architecture; The church is magnificent and spacious, and the speeches in the church can be amplified without loudspeakers and there is no echo interference.
Due to the grandeur of the Catholic Church in Sheshan, the Pope made it a "temple" in 1942. Believers make a pilgrimage to Sheshan, climb the stairs along the bitter road, experience the sufferings of Jesus from generation to generation, and gain the sublimation of religious feelings. On the Hajj Day in May every year, believers from all over the country make a pilgrimage to the mountains every day.
From the church, we went to Shanghai Astronomical Museum and Sheshan Observatory. Unfortunately, neither of them will open.
From the magnificent observation deck, you can see the beautiful scenery of Dongshe Mountain.
Finally, the day's exploration in Sheshan Forest Park is over. Finally, I put on the aerial photography of the Catholic church I took in Xishe Mountain. It's really beautiful. You can come here when you are free.
