The predecessor of Lu 'an Group Luning Coal Industry Co., Ltd. is ningwu county local state-owned Chenjiabangou Coal Mine. In 2003, Lu 'an Group acquired the mine and was incorporated in August 2005. The raw coal produced is gas coal with low ash, low phosphorus, ultra-low sulfur and high calorific value, which is a high-quality power and coking coal blending.
