The related extension of Bacardi

The establishment and development of every brand is not a simple process, and there are many twists and turns behind it, and Bacardi is no exception. Bacardi China has become one of the largest companies that produce, sell and promote pre-mixed wine brands in China since its establishment in June 1997+0 1 five years ago. Bacardi China is headquartered in Shanghai.

After all sales outlets entered China in an all-round way, Bacardi China established Bacardi China production base in Shanghai Comprehensive Industrial Development Zone, further expanding Bacardi's promotion and production capacity in China, so as to better meet the growing demand of consumer groups.

There are no Bacardi drinks in Cuba. The main rum brand in Cuba is Havana Club. Havana Club was not Bacardi's original brand, but Bacardi said that it later bought the brand from the brand owner. The Cuban government said that the original owner of the brand gave up the brand and therefore refused to admit that Bacardi bought the brand. The Cuban government cooperates with French company Pernod-Ricard to sell Havana Club all over the world, except the United States and its territory.

Although Bacardi is no longer produced in Cuba, for commercial reasons, Bacardi decided to start re-emphasizing the Cuban origin of its brand. Facing the increasingly fierce competition brought by the international Havana Club brand, the company thinks it is very important to contact Cuba to sell rum. A TV advertisement with the slogan "Welcome to Latin America" is one of them. In 1998, the words "1862 was founded in Santiago, Cuba" were added under the company's distinctive bat logo.

Bacardi is facing criticism and legal problems, saying that Bacardi is trying to confuse consumers and make them think that this brand of rum is produced in Cuba. Bacardi's advertisement in Spain started from 1966 to promote the combination of rum and cola, which was called "rum cola". However, starting from 1998, Bacardi began to call this drink "Cuba Libre". The Spanish Advertising Association forced Bacardi to stop this advertising campaign, saying that the advertisements were full of pictures of Caribbean countries, which would make consumers think that they were from Cuba, thus "misleading consumers in the substance of the products". At the same time, Bacardi continues to compete with the Cuban government for the right to use trademarks in courts around the world.

Bacardi's tradition continues to spread in Santiago and Havana through its noble architecture and historical importance. The Bacardi Building in the old city of Havana is considered as one of the most exquisite art deco buildings in Latin America. Baijiade rum was invented by Mr. Fakondo Baijiade Massu, a Cuban wine importer in the19th century. He developed a set of perfect distillation and mixing procedures, and used local specialty syrup to brew spirits with alcohol, harmony and purity.

Today, the producers of Baijia Delun wine are still descendants of Mr. Facondo.

Rum is made from sugarcane juice and sugarcane syrup (mostly sugar residue, soaked residue or other sucrose non-staple food) through fermentation and distillation. Therefore, rum is essentially a by-product of the sugar industry. Sugarcane is produced everywhere, and the West Indies is the largest producing area, among which Bacardi brand rum in Jamaica is the most famous. In addition, the United States, Guyana, Brazil, Haiti, Mexico and other countries also produce rum.

In fact, rum is classified according to the place of origin, which can be divided into Jamaican rum and Puerto Rican rum, and each kind of rum should be marked with the place of origin. However, for convenience, we will refer to mutton here.
