Nikko Asset Company's main business is managing investment trusts. Previously, he was allowed to enter QFII institutions in A-share market, obtain QFII qualification, foreign exchange investment quota and open a special RMB account. On March 5th, 2004, it officially invested in Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange, becoming the first Japanese investment fund to invest in China government bonds denominated in RMB.
Founded in 1959, the company is a fund management subsidiary of NikkoCordialCorp, a large Japanese brokerage firm.
