Commercial Acquisition of mcpherson Company

20 13, 10, McKesson Corp)(MCK), the largest drug distributor in North America, announced that it intends to acquire Celesio AG, a German counterpart company, with a transaction amount of about 6 1 billion euros (about 8.3 billion US dollars).

This transaction will make mckesson a global drug wholesaler and retailer, and help improve its bargaining power when purchasing from international pharmaceutical giants.

On the same day, mckesson said that he had reached an agreement with Franz Haniel, a German, to acquire 50.0 1% shares of Celesio, and had issued an offer of 23 euros (3 1.70 USD) per share to acquire the remaining shares of Celesio, provided that the shareholders holding at least 75% shares of Celesio agreed to accept the offer. Mcpherson's proposal was welcomed by Sellesi's management and board of directors.
