Introduction of liquefied petroleum gas tanker

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) ships mainly transport petroleum hydrocarbons with propane and butane as the main components or their mixtures, including propylene and butene, as well as some chemical products. In recent years, ethylene has also been included in its transportation scope. According to the different liquefaction conditions of various gases, they can be divided into full pressure type (small loading capacity), semi-cold and semi-pressure type (large loading capacity) and full cooling type (large loading capacity). Liquefied gas carrier represents the shipbuilding technology level in the world today because of its special purpose, special requirements in all aspects and great technical difficulty. The price of the ship is 2 ~ 3 times that of the conventional transport ship of the same tonnage, and it is a high-tech and high-value-added ship.
