Please introduce Boeing's ghost factory.
On June 29th, 2008, it was reported that Boeing established the senior R&D branch of "Ghost Factory" in Australia, which was part of Boeing's business expansion strategy in Australia. The new branches will be located in Melbourne and Brisbane respectively, and will be officially put into operation in March. The new department will engage in the research and development of national manufacturing technology and cooperate with local research and development institutions, including universities, federal scientific and industrial research institutions and national defense science and technology institutions. The new department will employ 30 senior engineers, scientists and researchers to engage in composite resin impregnation, light manufacturing and precision coating robots, maintenance of aging aircraft, advanced UAV application, network center occupation and aerospace application environment research. The establishment of this department shows that Boeing recognizes that there are many excellent talents in Australia. Boeing's Australian business units include: Boeing's Australian subsidiaries Hawked haviland Company, jepson Australia and Alteon Training Company of Australia. Australia is the country with Boeing's largest business outside the United States, and Boeing employs 4000 Australians.
