Professor Jiang Desheng, Chief Scientist

Academician of China Academy of Engineering, expert in optical fiber sensing technology.

/kloc-0 was born in March, 1949,/kloc-0 graduated from Wuhan University of Technology, 1985 went to study nonlinear optics at the University of Angles, France. From 65438 to 0990, he served as the director of the research center of optical fiber sensing technology of Wuhan University of Technology and the director of the key laboratory of optical fiber sensing technology and information processing of the Ministry of Education. Now he is the chief professor and doctoral supervisor of Wuhan University of Technology, enjoying the allowance of the State Council. 200 1 won the national excellent teacher; In 2002, he was awarded the "May 1st" Labor Medal of Hubei Province; In 2005, he was selected as an outstanding scientific and technological worker in China and an advanced worker in China.

Professor Jiang Desheng is a member of the International Society of Optical Engineering (SPIE) and the American Optical Society (OSA). In 2000, he was the chairman of the international SPIE "Sensor and Advanced Manufacturing Technology" conference. He is also the director of China Materials Research Association, vice chairman of Hubei Electromechanical Society and vice chairman of Hubei Optical Society. In 2007, he was awarded an academician of China Academy of Engineering.

Professor Jiang Desheng has been engaged in the research and industrialization of optoelectronic materials and devices, optical fiber sensing technology and other fields for more than 20 years, especially in the intersection of materials and information. By adopting a variety of new material processing technologies, we have overcome a series of key technologies, such as the preparation of optical fiber sensing sensitive materials, micro-processing of optical fiber materials, integrated design of optical fiber sensing optical elements, and formed a complete set of production technologies and equipment with independent intellectual property rights in China. Has presided over the completion of more than 20 national and provincial-level scientific and technological projects. A lot of fruitful pioneering work has been done in the practical, engineering and productization of optical fiber sensing technology, and more than 30 new products of optical fiber sensing technology in seven categories have been developed. Many products have filled the domestic gap, reached or approached the international advanced level, and have been applied in petrochemical, metallurgical, transportation, water conservancy, hydropower and other industries.
