Legal basis: Article 36 of the Law on Administrative Punishment of Public Officials in People's Republic of China (PRC) engages in or participates in profit-making activities in violation of regulations, or holds posts and receives remuneration in violation of regulations, and is given a warning, demerit or gross demerit; If the circumstances are serious, demotion or dismissal shall be given; If the circumstances are serious, they will be expelled.
