After liberation, it was approved by the Provincial Health Department as Shaxi Herbal Tea Factory in Zhongshan County. In April 1984, it was renamed as Shaxi Chinese Medicine Factory. In March 1990, it was renamed as Shaxi Pharmaceutical Factory in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. In April 2003, it was renamed as Guangdong Yihetang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. At present, it has more than 350 employees, including more than 50 senior, intermediate and scientific personnel, with fixed assets of 26 million yuan. The third national industrial census ranked the 87th in the "Processing of Chinese Herbal Medicine and Chinese Patent Medicine" industry, and was awarded the title of "China Time-honored Brand" by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Internal Trade with 1993.
The factory is located at No.34, Zhu Bao West Road, shaxi town, covering an area of 58,000 square meters and a building area of 33,000 square meters. The layout of the factory is reasonable. Over the years, after determined reform, the factory has taken the road of rejuvenating the factory through science and technology, and through continuous technological transformation, its production equipment is advanced. It has a large-scale extraction and granulation workshop, a western medicine tablet workshop designed according to GMP requirements and a β -lactam production workshop.
