According to the technical personnel of China Railway Bridge Bureau, the main bridge of Jingzhou Yangtze River Railway Bridge adopts cable-stayed bridge, with a main span of 5 18 meters, and the bridge deck is divided into two layers: the upper layer is a four-lane highway with a bridge deck width of 26 meters; The lower floor is a double-track railway with a line spacing of 4.2m and a design speed of120km.
The designer, China Railway Bridge Institute, said that Jingzhou Yangtze River Highway Railway Bridge connects Jingzhou jiangling county and Gongan County. It is the cross-river passage and key control project of Hua Meng Railway and Shashi-Gongan Expressway. It is the seventh highway-railway bridge on the main stream of the Yangtze River in China and the first heavy-duty railway bridge across the Yangtze River in China. The total length of the bridge is 6317.8m, and the main bridge is a twin-tower steel truss cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 518m, which is the highest of its kind in the world.
