Northrop Grumman's Group Business Group

As of 2008, Grumman has divided its internal business into four departments, each of which operates independently. Most of its departments and units were established for acquisition. Northrop Grumman-newport news is the largest private shipyard in the United States, the only department that can build Nimitz-class super carriers, and one of the two companies that can build submarines in the United States. Located in newport news, Virginia, we often cooperate with Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia. Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding System Company merged the former Ingles Shipyard and Arantel Shipyard to build small and medium-sized ships.
