E-commerce startups have several organizational structures for reference:
1, with simple structure, can set up necessary posts such as operation, art design, procurement, customer service and warehouse management under the general manager, and each post is basically one post or more posts by one person.
2. Functional structure, that is, the setting of related functions such as operation department, design department, purchasing department, warehouse management department and administration department. For those who have accumulated a certain amount or the enterprises themselves have the strength to invest, many of them set up professional teams from scratch, which can operate e-commerce projects better and faster and attract professional e-commerce personnel.
3. Project-based structure, that is, when the company operates in multiple projects and stores, and there is a large demand for personnel in various functional positions, the project-based structure is often implemented. Each project team is independent of each other, and each project team leader directly manages its employees and is responsible for the overall operation results of the project.
4. Network architecture, that is, function outsourcing. Some traditional brands do not directly set up their own e-commerce departments, but outsource different tasks to corresponding service companies, such as visual outsourcing, operation outsourcing, promotion outsourcing, customer service outsourcing and warehousing outsourcing. Under this framework, there is generally only one post, that is, the project supervisor/manager, who is responsible for the information exchange and work coordination between R&D within the company and the marketing department and external service companies, and the work results are directly reported to the general manager.
