Shaanxi Hande Axle Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between Weichai Power and Shaanxi Automobile Group, formerly known as Shaanxi Automobile Group Axle Factory. The company is a high-tech enterprise with two factories in Xi and Baoji. It is an important production base of heavy truck axles in China at present, and various series of axle assemblies have been equipped with our heavy military off-road vehicles and commercial vehicles in batches. The company has been rated as "Top 500 Machinery in China" and "Top 0/00 Auto Parts in China" for three consecutive years. In September 2007, Hande Axle won the title of "China Famous Trademark".
The company has a complete product development, manufacturing, inspection and marketing system, and has successively passed ISO 9001:1994/2000, GJB900 1A-200 1 and ISO/TS 16949 quality system certification.
Since Austria introduced Steyr axle production technology exclusively in 1980s, it has kept pace with the development of the industry. In 2004, we carried out technical cooperation with MAN Company in Germany, and introduced the world-leading manufacturing technology of heavy truck axles, so that the company's technical level has always been in the leading position in China.
The company's leading products are: wheel side deceleration drive axle, single-stage deceleration drive axle, steering front axle, heavy military off-road vehicle drive axle, trailer bearing axle and other five categories 100 varieties.
In recent years, the company has invested nearly 550 million yuan to flexibly transform key components such as machining line, axle assembly line and coating line, and built more than 30 professional production lines such as axle housing, differential housing, wheel side reducer, main reducer housing, wheel, axle box, front cross beam and knuckle, as well as supporting heat treatment and electroplating production lines, axle assembly lines and coating lines.
While carrying out large-scale technical transformation and new factory construction, the company vigorously promoted basic management and implemented ERP and lean production management within the enterprise, which greatly improved the management efficiency of the enterprise and made the management more scientific and standardized.
At present, the company has established stable and good cooperative relations with more than ten domestic and foreign heavy-duty automobile manufacturers such as Shaanxi National Heavy Duty Truck, Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle and Shanghai Zhonghui, and the axle assembly products have been exported to more than ten countries such as Europe, Asia and North America. On June 18, 2007, the company's axle assembly technology was exported to India in the form of technology license, which realized the first export of China's automobile assembly technology and laid the foundation for further exploring the international market.
In order to meet the domestic and international market demand, the company started construction of Xi 'an factory on July 27th, 2006, and the Xi 'an factory was completed and put into operation at the end of August, 2007. By the end of the Eleventh Five-Year Plan, Hande Axle will be built into a modern large-scale axle manufacturing base with excellent equipment, advanced technology, leading technical level and first-class management, with an annual output of 380,000 sets of axle assemblies.
