Quanzhou Port has set up five independent ports.
Namely:
Xiaocuo Port Area will focus on the development of bulk cargo, grain and multi-purpose terminal transportation on the basis of the development driven by the port-facing industry, and strive to develop the bulk cargo transportation and logistics service system facing the inland hinterland;
Nan 'an Port Area of Meizhou Bay (Shage and Li Yuwei Operation Area);
Quanzhou Bay Port Area (Chongwu, Houzhu, Neigang, Shihu and Xiangzhi Operation Area) focuses on foreign trade container feeder lines, domestic trade container hubs and large-scale logistics transportation, actively carries out navigation to Taiwan, and gradually builds the core area of Quanzhou commercial port;
Shenhu bay Port Area (Meilin, Shenzhen-Shanghai Operation Area) and Weitouwan Port Area (Weitou, Shijing, Dongshi, Anhai and Shuitou Operation Area) will develop diversified transportation serving local industries and actively expand cross-strait shipping cooperation such as passenger transportation to Taiwan.
Dou Wei operation area of Meizhou Bay Nan 'an port area and Xiutu operation area of Quanzhou Bay port area promote the development of port resources with port industries such as petrochemical, shipbuilding, energy and logistics, and strive to develop large-scale liquid bulk cargo transshipment, petrochemical resource reserve and petrochemical pipeline logistics in the radiation area.
After several years of continuous construction, 32 wharves have been built and put into operation, with 54 berths, of which 10,000-ton berths 10, with an annual designed throughput of 192 10000 tons, including containers160,000 TEU. Quanzhou Port faces Taiwan Province Province across the sea, which is only 90 nautical miles from Kaohsiung Port 165, Keelung Port 152, Taichung Port 105 and Penghu Magong Port.
Quanzhou Port now has regular bulk cargo or container liner routes from Quanzhou to Japan, Hong Kong, the three places on both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Busan, South Korea, which is open to more than 60 countries and regions in the world.
